Sample Yoga II Cards
Similar to The Yoga Deck, The Yoga Deck II includes several types of cards for a complete yoga experience: 6 Breath Cards,
6 Warm-Up Cards, 1 Om Card, 31 Posture Cards, and 6 Meditation Cards.
Breath Card sample: Breath of Fire with Raised Thumbs (Kapalabhati)
Deep breathing is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Many of us have developed improper
breathing habits over the years, which can lead to loss of energy, respiratory problems, mental confusion, and increased
tension. Full, deep breathing floods the system with oxygen, nourishes the blood cells, and removes harmful toxins.

Warm-Up Card sample: Chopping Wood
It really is important to warm up before you begin. You will enjoy greater benefits if you warm up the muscles of
your neck, shoulders, arms, back, trunk and legs first. Your body - as well as your mind - will be better prepared to
perform the poses.
Posture Card sample: Balancing Stick (Tuladandasana)
Similar to The Yoga Deck, the 31 posture cards are numbered so that you may do the poses in a series or choose cards
at random, depending on your available time and energy. Also included are recommended sequences for: an all-over stretch;
more energy; increased flexibility; strength; improved balance; back pain relief; relaxation and stress relief.
Meditation Card sample: Abundance Meditation
Meditation is a proven means of decreasing tension, increasing concentration, and slowing respiration and heart rate.
It also brings our wandering minds back to the present. Ending with a meditation is a wonderful way to complete your yoga practice.
