Essential to a sense of connection is adequate lighting, a very important element in the natural world. In rooms with inadequate lighting, we may experience disconnection from Tao, which can cause disharmony, imbalance, and stress. The amount and placement of light sources ideally should support the most common activities in a room.

applications

  • Add a windowpane mirror to give the illusion of a window.
  • Paint the walls a pale shade of yellow with a slight gloss.
  • If there is only one light source, add a variety of lighting from different angles and sources. Include some full-spectrum lighting.
  • If you need to engage in a focused activity such as reading, make sure there is strong lighting, effectively aimed.
